The manufacturer's original playfield drawing (not shown here) is stamped ORIGINAL, shows the name as 'High Ways', is dated 10/26/60, and has the signed initials SFK. The manufacturer's Tool Room copy of this drawing (also not shown here) is stamped MASTER, shows the name as 'High Ways', drawn 12/1/60, completed 12/29/60. The backglass depicts an 'Oasis' restaurant and rest stop. The original five 'Oasis' restaurants were built in 1959 along the Illinois Tollway. A sixth one was built in 1968 and a seventh one was built in 1975.
