Notes: | This game and Stern's 2012 'Transformers The Pin™' are the first games to use the Stern SPIKE System MPU. Designer George Gomez provided us the following information: This game was introduced at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (Jan. 11-13). The SPIKE system was first used on the consumer game versions 'Transformers, The Pin' and 'Avengers, The Pin'. One of the advantages of the system is that it is modular such that it can scale up or down and adapt to support the complexity of the game. This made it a perfect choice since those games had to fit into a lower price point in our line. It also acted as a pilot run so that we could refine the system prior to expanding it into the more complex commercial products. The next pinball machine to use the SPIKE System is Stern's 2015 'Wrestlemania (Pro)'. | |||||||||||||
